What did you like most about the course?

The Certified Short Sale course provided both a big picture view of the market and transaction as well as details that you need to know when working short-sale deals. The instructor is outstanding, and the workbook is a very thorough resource with examples and explanations that will help as you begin to navigate through these complex transactions. I love how RealtyU continues to be available to answer questions you may have after you've completed the course. I've been pleased with the timeliness and content of the responses they've provided in response to my questions. They REALLY are there to help!

What was your biggest takeaway from the course?

Learning the difference between recourse and non-recourse loans, the tax ramificatons with these transactions, and the importance of the appraisal are all important elements that set these transactions apart from more traditional deals, and these issues were thoroughly explained in the course. The instructor also provides solid guidelines to help you select your short-sale deals wisely.

What actions did you take from applying what you learned in the course?

I'm in the process of implementing many of the suggestions for marketing that the instructor presented. The market is full of short-sale opportunities, so this is a great niche market.

What results did you create from applying what you learned?

I'm a new agent and still in the process of putting all the pieces together so that I can market myself with confidence.
